DR. EICHELBERGER joined the practice of Greenwood OB-GYN in 1974. He received his B.S. Degree from Davidson College and his M.D. Degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He served two years in the U.S. Army as a general medical officer. He completed four years of residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical University Teaching Hospitals in Charleston. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was recertified in 1986.

Dr. Eichelberger is a native of Clinton, SC and presently resides in Ninety Six, SC. He attends the First Presbyterian Church and has served as an Elder and Deacon and is presently serving as a Stephen Minister. He is a member of the Ninety Six Lions Club.

Dr. Eichelberger is married to the former Kathryn McQueen of Florence, SC. They have four children: Laure, Bonny, Gary, and Adam. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, jogging, horseback riding and spending time with his family on the farm.

Dr. Eichelberger practices gynecology only on a part-time basis.
